What's new in this version of Pokémon Chronicles v20.1:




0- Other Things:

Fixed- When the player loses a GYM battle, the Pokemon that didn't enter the battle are "deleted or hidden from the players eyes" and when the player tries to fight the GYM leader again a crash appears saying that the Pokemon that was eliminated needs to be refreshed.
Fixed- In Viridian City, Jenny npc can't get to the player, which freezes the game.
Fixed- Typo in Gary speech in Prof. Oaks Lab.
Fixed- Typo in Team Rocket Boss meeting on Vermilion Harbor.
Fixed- Some passable tiles where the player shouldn't be able to move or walk on them.
Fixed- Player Selene, Gloria, Red character crash when you're on the playing naming window.
Fixed- Always on bushes script path error.
Fixed- Super Contests player Pokemon file path error.
Fixed- Missing graphics path error for Pause Menu and Encounters UI.
Fixed- Players and npcs movement on the Kanto Pokemon League, champions room.
Fixed- Players can no longer use Fly or Teleport during Safari Games or Bug Catching Contests.
Fixed- Hoenn Safari Door animation on Route 121.
Fixed- Hoenn Safari Maps and Bug Catching Contests heavy lag due to a paralel process to always checking if you have a trainer partner with you, which it will remove them.
Fixed- Wrong script call for Up-Grade, it should be upgrade. If the name is wrong, the players won't get this item.
Fixed- Bill's quests where it indicates that he will be waiting on Vermilion Pokecenter. There's a duplicated quest, so either choice you make, it will activate the same quest, which is two different quests, and the player can't complete it, because they choosed the other route which the next quests will not consider that one but the other one as completed.
Fixed- Poketch error on an App.
Fixed- The arrows and the spins keys on the controls screen and when they are aplied and used.
Fixed- An error with the game speed up mechanic and the action key (Z button).
Fixed- Charizard not able to learn the move Blast Burn from a tutor move npc on Two Island - Cape Brink.
Fixed- Move Deleter npc wrong script call to detect if a Pokemon is an egg or not, so it can remove the selected move.
Fixed- Weird characters on the Mart Coins screen, like \b).
Fixed- Edited the event where Steven gives you a Beldum.
Fixed- Teleporter event from a hole on the Dotted Hole cave, which drops the player on the wrong spot.
Fixed- Stella Circus event crash due to a wrong script call to search if the player has space for the egg in the party.
Fixed- Goldenrod Flower Shop all related events, the bug comes if the player wins the GYM leader instead of checking this events on Route 36, because of the weird tree there.
Fixed- Bay Cave rocks game switches.
Fixed- Player Direction fix after battling the GYM Leader Dany on Navel Island.
Fixed- Player and Dany npc movements, when the event detects that the player hasn't the minimum pokemon required to battle or with him.
Fixed- Added player direction fix off in PokeCenters when the player loses the battles, when a blackout occurs.
Fixed- Gary event on Pinkan Island.
Fixed- Mewtwo's back story typos.
Fixed- After hatching a Pokemon that is not registered on the Pokedex, it now registers.
Fixed- Typos on the Spell of the Unown events on Ruins Of Alph.
Fixed- Typo on Goldenrod GYM, in Whitney event.
Fixed- Ice Path, on Route 44, holes due to the ice tiles, which the players get stuck on rocks.
Fixed- The Lass on Route 36, npc movements and added a Pokemon Follower script call on/off, so players can't get stuck there.
Fixed- Wrong script call to add a Pearl into the player's bag on Route 47.
Fixed- Trainer Kamon movements on Olivine City.
Fixed- Mewtwo npc on Cerulean Cave error from a wrong script call.
Fixed- Wrong script call to give ribbons to players on Bug Catching Contest.
Fixed- Pokesearch, it now searches for grass encounters, water, caves and sand more properly.
Fixed- When the new evo method for the tradded Pokemon as a side evolution line, and its holding an item, it gets deleted when evolving. ex: Poliwhirl is holding exp. share and players uses a Water Stone on it, its hold item is permanently deleted.
Fixed- Missing Annihilape Overworld sprites.
Fixed- Typo on Joshua event at the Slateport Harbor.
Fixed- Bug Catcher in Route 123, made him to now stay still when he is able to battle to avoid trainer cloning at themselves, because of one of them sudendly look away in the instance of loading a double battle, which they needs to look at the player.
Fixed- Removed missplaced npc at a Cable Car Station leading to Mt. Chimney.
Fixed- Typo about a npc name Cozmo at the Mt. Chimney.
Fixed- Double trainer, which one of them make a clone of itself at Mt. Chimney.
Fixed- Hoenn Safari Zone Mach Bike, Mud Slope tiles, which makes the player walking up through everything on the maps/world.
Fixed- Goldenrod Game Corner npc that sells coins, since that it didn't do that.
Fixed- Pokemon wild encounters in the grassy areas, which Pokemon only appears during the morning time and not all day on Route 104.
Fixed- Pokemon battle sprites for: Iron Moth, Sprigatito, Quaxly, Quaxwell, Quaquaval, Lechonk, Oinkologne (both), Pawmo, Fidough, Dachsbun, Shroodle, Toedscool, Veluza, Iron Jugulis, Chien-Pao and Miraidon.
And other improved things / repair bugs and errors.

Downloaded all the game parts and now what?


1- Place all parts in the same directory / folder / location.
2- Right click on part 1 and then extract it to from the game's exe.
3- With the game's exe. You can delete the winrar parts. Because you've got what you want, the game's exe.
4- Install the game normally and check the Word files for more information about the game installation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE PLAYERS THAT HAVE V20 SAVE GAMES CAN STILL USE/CONTINUE WITH THEM.

Note: Remember, this project is still under development.
This is a PC fangame not a hack room.
To download the game, people must be registered in this forum.
The game provides players with Word files with instructions about installation and other usefull things.
Please read carefuly when instaling the game.

People's scripts and other kinds of stuff are credited inside the game in final credits.

How to install the game and Updates?


1- To install the game, simply copy and paste the game's folder on your PC. But, never paste it on the folder "My PC". (through game folder without installer).


1.1- Execute the game exe and follow the instructions on the screen and in the Word file. (through installer/exe method).


2- To update to a new game's version, delete your old game's folder and paste this one in the same location or unistall it in case you install the game through exe.

3- Just play the game and have fun.

Note: Your save game will go automatically to another location, so it's fine doing this and you will not lose your saved game.
