Pokémon Chronicles Version 18.4

What's new in this version of Pokémon Chronicles v18.4:


1- Improved NPC Trainers:



Improved / Added - some overworld NPC trainers to match their "nature":

Updated - Fame Checker sprites.
Fixed / Updated - Quests log system sprites.
Fixed / Updated - Pokegear Phone system sprites.

2- Pokeradar Released Part 4:




Added around 64 new Pokemon encounters to PokeRadar list. They are scattered in all 4 regions.

Important Note: This is only the part 3. The Pokeradar system only misses the special encounters list that we are still under developping, the rest of the system is ready to use by the players. So, be patient until we add the rest of the encounters into this system.

3- Updated Overworld Tileset:



Updated the Mooomoo Barn graphic in Route 39 to be more realistic.

Added  few new items to the game: Pewter Crunchies, Chalky Stone, Beach Glass, Polished Mud Ball, Tropical Shell, Small Bouquet, Gold Leaf, Silver Leaf, Leaf Letter, Blue Petal, Green Petal, Orange Petal, Pink Petal, Purple Petal, Red Petal, Yellow Petal, Rainbow Flower, Coupon 1, Coupon 2, Coupon 3, Snowball, Ability Capsule, Eon Flute, Sun Flute, Moon Flute.

Effects:

Pewter Crunchies - Heals your Pokemon status conditions. You can buy it in Pewter PokeMart.
Chalky Stone - This item has no effects. Flint sell this item in Pewter City and you can obtain it through Pokemon Follower too.
Beach Glass, Polished Mud Ball, Tropical Shell, Small Bouquet, Gold Leaf, Silver Leaf, Leaf Letter - This items has no effects. You can obtain them through Pokemon Follower too.
Blue Petal, Green Petal, Orange Petal, Pink Petal, Purple Petal, Red Petal, Yellow Petal - This items has no effect. However, you need them to exchange for Rainbow Flower in a quest. You only receive them Through the Johto Week Brothers. This items are Key Items.
Rainbow Flower - This item has no effects. You obtain this item after your get all the petals to form this item at Celadon Game's creator Aides. This item is a Key Item.
Coupon 1, 2, 3 - This items has no effects. They are Key Items for a quest. Work in progress, they can't be obtained yet.
Snowball - An item to be held by a Pokemon. It boosts Attack if the holder is hit with an Ice-type attack. It can only be used once. It can be obtained at Mossdeep Game Corner.
Ability Capsule - A capsule that allows a Pokémon with two Abilities to switch between these Abilities when it is used. Work in progress, they can't be obtained yet.
Eon Flute - When you use this flute, you can summon Latias or Latios, depending if its day or night, and they will battle you. Work in progress, they can't be obtained yet.
Sun Flute - When you use this flute, you can summon Solgaleo if its day, and it will battle you. Work in progress, they can't be obtained yet.
Moon Flute - When you use this flute, you can summon Lunala if its night, and it will battle you. Work in progress, they can't be obtained yet.

Added - Sounds when players uses this items: Honey, Repels, all the flutes, Ability Capsule, Berries, PokeDoll, PokeToy and similars.


5- Improved Water Reflections:



Added Water Reflections, when the player goes near still water, water puddles. Pokemon and trainer follower systems have support for these too.

Added minor overworld animations for Pokemon follower system too.

Fixed / improved - Some of the Pokemon Follower shadows in general.


6- Fixed Pokegear Jukebox:



Fixed - The Pokegear Jukebox, the custom song option, When players can add their own songs.

To add your songs you must now do this: Add a song in this 2 folders: MySongs and BGM.
It will consumes more space yes, but the system only works this way. Also, to prevent the game system to load all the game's songs, i do this change to separate your own songs from the game's songs.
To stop the song, just press Default in the jukebox option.

To celebrate my Birthday, I added some anime songs for you, using this fixed Jukebox option. They consumes a lot of space, that's why the game now requires more hard drive space. They are a total of 34 anime songs, my favorites until now.

Use Pokegear to hear them inside the game. Credits will not go for me about the anime songs, i didn't make them, its only for fun a "special" add-on.


0- Other Things:

Fixed - Trainer Alice in Fuchsia GYM.
Fixed - Phone sprites and texts.
Fixed - Quest Log sprites and texts.
Fixed - Mossdeep Game Corner NPCs issue that blocks access to the players to exchange items.
Added - Sounds to Apricorn Trees, in events.
Added - More items in Pokemon Follower system, where your Pokemon can find items on the ground ramdonly.
Added - The supporters nick names in the game ending credits.
Updated - Pokémon Chronicles Instalation Instructions Word File about the songs and minor things.
Development - Preparing the system to receive the PokéRadar special encounters.
Development - Preparing the system to receive the Game's Creator Events.
Development - Preparing the system to receive the Pokemon Contests.
And other improved things / repair bugs and errors.

Downloaded all the game parts and now what?


1- Place all parts in the same directory / folder / location.
2- Right click on part 1 and then extract it to from the game's exe.
3- With the game's exe. You can delete the winrar parts. Because you've got what you want, the game's exe.
4- Install the game normally and check the Word files for more information about the game installation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The players can continue with their save games from the version 18.

Note: Remember, this project is still under development.
This is a PC fangame not a hack rom.
To download the game, people must be registered in this forum.
The game provides players with Word files with instructions about installation and other usefull things.
Please read carefuly when instaling the game.

People's scripts and other kinds of stuff are credited inside the game in final credits.

How to install the game and Updates?

1- To install the game, simply copy and paste the game's folder on your PC. But, never paste it on the folder "My PC".

2- To update to a new game's version, delete your old game's folder and paste this one in the same location.

3- Just play the game and have fun.

Note: Your save game will go automatically to another location, so it's fine doing this and you will not lose your saved game.
